FinEZ helps you explore a financial decision using your own assumptions. You remain in control of your information and your decisions.

Using this prototype

These terms apply to your use of FinEZ. By using the tool, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it. The Privacy Notice explains how browser storage, exported files, and voluntary feedback are handled.

FinEZ is a personal-finance planning and educational prototype. It is not a bank, lender, investment service, or professional advisory service. It does not connect to banks, execute transactions, move money, open financial accounts, or create an advisor-client relationship.

Estimates and your decisions

FinEZ provides educational estimates based on information you enter. It is not financial, tax, legal, investment, or credit advice. Results are not a recommendation to buy, borrow, invest, or enter a contract. Consider your circumstances and consult a qualified professional when appropriate.

You are responsible for checking your inputs, calculations, and assumptions before relying on a result. FinEZ uses recurring averages rather than actual paydays and bill dates. Manually entered balances may be out of date, and unlinked income or expenses can make account projections incomplete. Expenses, taxes, interest, fees, or other factors that you have not entered may be missing. A positive result does not guarantee affordability, available bank funds, loan approval, or a future financial outcome.

A What If test is separate from your current plan until you choose Use this as my current plan. Using a test changes FinEZ’s stored planning information only; it does not make any real-world payment or account transfer.

Your information and files

You retain your rights in the information you enter. You may save, print, and share your own reports and backups. Those files may reveal financial information, so review them before sharing. Providing feedback does not give FinEZ ownership of your financial information.

You are responsible for protecting your device and keeping backups you need. Browser-only storage is not a recovery service. Clearing site data, changing devices or website addresses, or losing access to a browser profile can make saved entries unavailable. The operator cannot recover information it has never received.

Permission to use FinEZ

You may access FinEZ for lawful personal planning and evaluation. You may share the public website link and your own exported reports. This permission does not grant ownership of FinEZ’s branding, original content, or protectable code.

Except as permitted by applicable law or a relevant third-party license, you may not republish or distribute FinEZ’s protected code, branding, or original content as your own product without the rights holder’s permission. FinEZ is used as an unregistered brand; no federal trademark registration or patent protection is claimed here. Third-party materials, if any, remain subject to their own rights and licenses.

Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, or use it unlawfully. These terms do not restrict rights that applicable law makes non-waivable.

Availability and responsibility

FinEZ is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, its operator makes no warranties about accuracy, completeness, availability, or suitability for your circumstances. The prototype may contain errors, change, or be discontinued. Download a backup of any information you want to keep.

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for losses resulting from your reliance on estimates, financial decisions, service interruption, or loss of locally stored information. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. A disclaimer does not replace checking results or obtaining professional advice when needed.
