Contact

Email m23isme@gmail.com for help, feedback, privacy questions, or permission requests. This is a small prototype, so response times may vary.

Tell us which page you used, what you expected, what happened, and your browser and device. Use made-up amounts in examples and remove personal details from screenshots. Please do not send financial backups, bank passwords, account numbers, or other sensitive identifiers. Opening the email link does not automatically send a message or attach any app data.

Keep a backup

  1. Finish editing your fields and check the saving message. Select Add for new items and Save changes for compact edits. If you are testing a change, check that it appears in History.
  2. Open Dashboard or History and select Download backup.
  3. Save the JSON file somewhere you control. It contains your current plan and saved tests in readable form, without password protection.

A PDF is a readable report, not a restorable backup. To move your work to another browser, device, or a new FinEZ website address, download a JSON backup first and use Restore backup in the destination. Download a backup of any existing destination data before replacing it.

If your information disappears

Check that you are using the same website address, browser, and browser profile. Look in History for saved tests. If you have a backup, restore it after checking whether you need to download a backup of anything currently displayed. Without a backup or access to the original browser storage, FinEZ’s operator cannot recover your entries.

Delete your information

Remove individual entries using their delete controls. In History, deleting a saved test leaves your current plan unchanged; deleting a test that is open also closes it. Older tests may still contain copies of information you removed from your current plan.

To start with an empty plan, download a backup of anything you want to keep, open How to Use, and select Start from $0. To remove all site storage, close FinEZ tabs and clear this website’s site data in browser settings. You can often find it by searching Settings for “site data” and selecting the FinEZ website address. The app opens empty afterward. Remove downloaded, emailed, or cloud-synced reports and backups separately.

Saving or recovery needs attention

If saving fails, keep the tab open and select Download this tab’s copy before freeing browser space or changing storage settings. Retry saving afterward. This copy includes entered plan items and your open test; it does not include a new item you have not added or a compact edit you have not submitted.

When another tab has changed the saved plan, FinEZ stops this tab from saving an older copy. Download this tab’s copy if you need it, close the other editing tab, then reload the saved plan. Browsers that support an editing lock allow one FinEZ tab to edit at a time; other browsers check for changes before saving.

If FinEZ cannot safely open saved data, it keeps the original instead of replacing it with an empty plan. Download the recovery copy before restoring a normal FinEZ backup or choosing Start from $0. A recovery copy preserves raw stored text for troubleshooting; it is not a regular restorable backup. Do not email that file—it may contain private financial information.

For deletion or correction of feedback you sent, email a privacy request. The operator cannot remotely erase entries stored only in your browser.

Understand your results

FinEZ provides educational estimates based on your inputs. It is not financial, tax, legal, investment, or credit advice. A positive cash-flow result does not guarantee you can afford a purchase or have money available on a particular day. Check actual balances, payment dates, fees, and any costs you have not entered; consult a qualified professional when appropriate.

Account balances are entered manually. Regular income and expenses are separate from the money currently in an account. Choosing an account for an item improves balance estimates, but FinEZ never connects to a bank or moves real money. A test changes your current plan only when you choose Use this as my current plan.
